St. Peter Quy (d. 1859) was a native of Vietnam. Peter was a devoted Christian and received ordination as a priest. He got arrested for being a priest by anti-Catholic forces. He was martyred by being beheaded. Peter was canonized in 1988 by St. Pope John Paul II.
