Sts. Marcellinus & Peter (d. 304) wer both Romans. Marcellinus was a priest and Peter was an exorcist. Both Marcellinus and Peter were imprisoned for being a Christian. They took this as an opportunity to evangelize and managed to convert their jailer and his family. They were both beheaded in the forest so that no other Christian would have the chance to bury and venerate them. Two women found the bodies, however, and had them properly buried. A miraculous conversion of their executioner took place after their deaths.
