St. Timolaus and Companions (d. 303) were some of the early Christian martrys. Diocletianic or Great Persecution by Emperor Diocletian was the last and most severe persecution of Christians. Diocletian's persecutions were some of the most horrific persecutions that were done to Christians. As part of the persecutions Timolaus and companions were beheaded in Caesarea, Palestine. According to the historian Eusebius of Caesarea, the names of the other martyrs were: Dionysius (two by this name), Alexander (two by this name), Romulus, Pausis, and Agapius.
St Timolaus and Companions help us to hold firm in our faith even when little doubts in our own minds take us away from God.
