St. Hugh of Grenoble (1053 - 1132) was born in France. He was a brilliant man and very well educated. He was a fine young man and the bishop took him under his wing. He was an extremely good negotiator and he attended the Senate in Leon. He impressed all the bishops so much that the bishops unanimously voted for Hugh to be ordained. He was ordained at the age of 27 and then later became a Bishop. He worked hard to bring order and reform to the world around him. St. Hugh gave a big piece of land to St. Bruno to build the monastery of the Carthusians. He suffered sever migraines in the latter days in his life, but always seemed pleasant even when he was in pain.
St. Hugh please help us be free of physical and emotional headaches.
