St. Agnes of Montepulciano (1268 - 1317) was born in 1268. At the young age of nine entered the monastery of Montepulciano.Four years later she was commissioned by Pope Nicholas IV to assist with founding a new convent in Procena. At the age of 15 she became the head of the nuns in Procena. Agnes was noted for her visions. She held the infant Jesus in her arms and received Holy Communion from an angel. She experienced levitations and she performed miracles for the faithful of the region.

St. Agnes pray for us to experience God so closely in our lives too.
