St. Anianus (d. 1st century) was the bishop and aide of St. Mark the apostle. Anianus was the second bishop of Alexandria, Egypt. Anianus was originally a shoemaker. Anianus was consecrated by St. Mark and named to succeed him. St. Mark and St. Anianus share the same feast day.
