St. Theodota (d. 304) was a noblewoman from Nicea (modern day Turkey). A chief officer Leucatius proposed to Theodota for marriage. Since she refused his proposal she was martyred for the faith. Theodota with her three sons (one of whom was St. Evodius) were hurled into a furnace.

St. Theodota please pray for families to be united in faith.
