St. Medericus (d. 700) was born in Autun, France. He entered St. Martin's monastery at thirteen and later became its abbot (leader of the monastery). He lived a solitary and spiritual life in his last years. He is also called Merry.


St. Medericus please pray for people who live by themselves to know the comfort of the Lord our God.
