St. Vincent Pallotti (1795 - 1850) was a priest and he dedicated his life to gain souls for God. He was a pioneer in being a Catholic in action. He collected huge sums of money to help the poor and the needy. He also founded several agricultural schools, loan associations, orphanages and homes for girls. He founded "Society for Catholic Action" to perform these missionary work. He died from a severe cold by walking in the rain because he gave his coat to a beggar.
