St. Paula (347 - 404) was from a noble family and she married Toxotius and had five children. They were regarded as an ideal couple and when her husband died in 379 she renounced the world and lived with great austerity and dedicated her life to help the poor. She worked very closely with St. Jerome and helped in his biblical work. She helped build numerous churches which caused her financial difficulties in her old age.

St. Paula help us have a generous heart.
