Sts. Sarbelius & Barbea (d.101) were a brother and sister that were put to death during the persecutions of Emperor Trajan at Edessa. Sarbelius was a high priest in Mesopotamia. They were both arrested because they converted to Christianity and then tortured with red hot irons and they were finally martyred by execution.
