St. Genevieve (422 - 512) knew that she wanted to live her life for God when she was a little girl. She took the veil when she was 15. She prophesied invasions and disasters for Paris. When Paris was besieged by the Franks she organized prayer for God to protect the city.


In 1129 there was an epidemic of "ergot poisoning" in Paris and when the people took St. Genevieve's relics and processed through the city it is believed that to have caused the end to the epidemic.


St. Genevieve, please pray for a quick end to the coronavirus pandemic.
