St. Aldegunais (639 - 684) was born in a royal family of Merovingians. She was raised by two saints St. Walbert and St. Bertila, her parents. St. Aldegunais refused several marriage offers and received the veil from the bishop of Maastricht who was also a saint, St. Amandius. St. Aldegunais also founded a convent which later became a monastery. St. Aldegunais had a sister who was also a saint, St. Waldetrudis. St. Aldegunais died at the age of 44 from cancer.

St. Aledgunais help us surround ourselves with saints and if we don't have saints around us, help us to be that saint who can convert others we come in contact with to also be saints.
