St. Andre Bessette (Aug 9, 1845 - Jan 6, 1937) was a humble saint who suffered from severe stomach pain and could not hold a job or work for much time because of his illness. Yet his devotion to St. Joseph moved him to build a church for St. Joseph. He started building a small church for St. Joseph with the little money he had with him.
