Martyrs of Damascus (d. 1860) were eight Franciscan and three Maronite martyrs. Druse's were a political and religious sect of Islamic origin who lived mainly in Lebanon and Syria. There was a Druse uprising in 1860 in Damascus, Syria when the eight Franciscan and three Maronite were asked to convert to the muslim faith. When they refused to accept the faith, they were executed.

Martyrs of Damascus please pray for us to stand together in faith with our fellow Christians to help each other grow closer to God.
