St. Getulius (d. 120) was the husband of St. Symphorosa. Getulius was an officer in the Roman army. When he converted to Christianity he gave up his career as an officer and moved to his estates in Tivoli, Italy. Caerealis was sent to arrest Getulius, on account of his faith. But Getulius converted Caerealis to the faith. With his brother Amantius and with Caerealis and Primitivus, Getulius was tortured and martyred at Tivoli.

St. Getulius please pray for us to know when to walk away from our sinful life and follow the life of Christ.
