St. Peter Regulatus (1390 - 1456) was born in a spain to a noble family. He entered the Franciscan order at the young age of thirteen years old. After several years he transferred to a monastery in Tribulos. He practiced extreme asceticism (severe self discipline by avoiding all forms of indulgences). He was known to have abilities to levitate and enter into ecstasies.
