St. Joan of Arc (1412 - 1431) was born in a French peasant family. She used to say that she heard the voices of St. Michael, St. Catherine and St. Margaret from a young age. When she was thirteen years she saw all three saints in a vision and the saints asked her to drive the English from the conquered French territory. After the saints left Joan of Arc wept because she could not believe how beautiful the saints looked. When she was sixteen years old she asked a relative to take her to the French Royal Court to meet the commander. The commander gave her a sarcastic remark, but she came back again he following January and got support from two of the soldiers. Later she had a vision days ahead of it actually happening which made the governor believe that she had divine revelation. She was then given permission to join in the army, but was advised to dress like a man for her own safety. She owns several battles against the English. Joan was later captured and executed by being burnt wrongfully.
