St. Conleth (d. 519) was an Irish metalworker and hermit. He lived as a recluse. He was a close friend of St. Brigid. Conleth served as a spiritual director at St. Brigid's convent. He was a skilled copyist (person who makes copies of handwritten manuscripts). He was also a talented illuminator of manuscripts (An illuminated manuscript is a manuscript in which the text is supplemented with such decoration as initials, borders, and miniature illustrations).
