St. Jutta (1200-1260) was a noblewoman of Thuringia, Germany. She was noted for visions and miracles. She was married at the age of fifteen and raised children. Her husband died on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. After the death of her husband Jutta moved to Prussia. In Prussia she became a recluse (a person who lives a solitary life and tends to avoid other people). She is the patroness of Prussia, in eastern Germany.
St. Jutta help us to find God in times of our loneliness.
