St. Victor Maurus (d. 303) was a native of Mauretania. He was a soldier. He was a Christian since youth but when he was an elderly man, he was arrested for his faith. He suffered severe tortures, including being basted with molten lead. He was later decapitated and gave witness to the faith. Despite age, infirmity, and declining health, he remained steadfast in the Faith, gladly giving up his life for God. After his death a church was built on his grave. There were many miracles that happened in that church.
St. Victor help us to make the right choices even when we are physically weak.
