St. Wendolinus (d. 607) was a holy shepherd and possible hermit, also called Wendelinus. According to tradition, Wendolinus came from Ireland. After years as a shepherd recluse, he may have served as abbot of a monastery near Trier. He has long been venerated at St. Wendel, in Germany.

St. Wendolinus please pray for health and prosperity for all shepherds.
