St. Finbar (550 - 620) was born in Connanaught, Ireland. He was educated by monks. He preached in Scotland and southern Ireland. He lived as a hermit and founded a monastery. He was the first bishop of Cork. His monastery was very famous and attracted many disciples. Many miracles have been attributed to him and supposedly the sun did not set for two weeks after he died.

St. Finbar please pray for us to attract others to God like you did.
